This project involved designing a comprehensive instructional e-learning module for Beiersdorf’s Nigerian branch as part of a broader dermatological education initiative. The module was created to simplify complex skin science concepts into a structured, visually engaging, and easy-to-understand digital learning experience. Covering topics from skin anatomy and microbiome science to acne, pigmentation, photoprotection, and Eucerin’s brand heritage, the module balanced medical accuracy with accessible educational storytelling.
The challenge was to convert a dense, clinically detailed dermatology presentation into an engaging and intuitive digital learning experience for Beiersdorf Nigeria. The original source content was highly information-heavy, covering medical concepts such as: Skin anatomy Skin barrier science Skin microbiome Acne pathophysiology Hyperpigmentation Photoprotection Eucerin scientific heritage The design challenge was not simply visual beautification—but educational transformation. The module needed to: Reduce cognitive overload Simplify scientific complexity Maintain clinical credibility Improve learner engagement Structure content into digestible sequences Support self-paced digital learningInstructional Design
